The Knights get into the spirit of Lent each year by offering fish dinners to parishioners.
Members of the Knights of Columbus prepared and served a pancake supper for parishioners of Good Samaritan on Shrove Tuesday, the eve of Lent.
The first portion of some 38 large food baskets, plus a turkey, is made ready for delivery on the eve of Thanksgiving. The Knights requested non-perishable food or cash from Good Samaritan parishioners for 3 weeks beforeThanksgiving. Knights packed the boxes and the following day distributed them to deserving local families to provide a nice Thanksgiving dinner.
